Hi my name is Vanessa Mercado and I am a work at home mom also known as a WAHM. I am a mother to a two year old toddler who keeps me very occupied. I am also a full time college student working on my bachelors degree in psychology and will be pursuing my masters in nursing. In addition I am the creator/maker/owner of Orgo Pads, an alternative to disposables. I live a very busy lifestyle and would not change it for the world, I get to enjoy time with my baby girl and family every day, pursue a degree and make a difference in a person's life by providing them with a healthier menstrual product.
I started my business when i discovered there was an alternative choice to disposables. This was in the summer of 2012 around august right before my daughter turned one. I was driven by the idea to design and create my own cloth pads after finding out that cloth pads not only reduce the duration of a menstrual cycle along with the symptoms associated with menstruation but also have health, environmental and economical benefits. Cloth menstrual products shouldn't be left in the dark and its time girls/women knew they had other options other then disposable brands that are well known today such as always, stay free and poise. One of those options is Orgo Pads, Orgo pads was created for women to balance their menstrual cycle, improve there health, save money and the environment. Orgo Pads are fun, functional, incredibly soft, absorbent and have dependable protection for both menstruation and incontinence. My goal is to help women of all ages around the world to live a better, healthier and more comfortable lifestyle in order to finally be able to enjoy and look at menstruation in a different perspective.
