NEW Selections

Hello ladies,

Enjoy Extra protection with less length with our light day pad heavy core layering. The option is now available on orgo pads website. This option is perfect for young girls and teens especially since they do not like the extra length at times. In addition it is available in round and square styles as shown below.

Light day pads normally have an Aabsorbency core of about 1.5 layer's however the heavy option will have a total of two full layers of coverage. The pad length has not changes and is 9.5"by 2.5' inches. Another difference one may find is that the light day pad has a Snap Indicator of "M" (indicating Moderate Flow) so to not confuse the light from heavy absorbency the heavy core in light day pads will have a "S" (indicating super absorbency).

Why Go Green?

Ever Wonder why people are starting to go green?

Is it to really save the planet or to make a change? Could there be  other reasons for the choices people make? I know that when it comes to cloth menstrual products i know i just preferred comfort and loved knowing my menstrual pain would reduce but it was definitely a plus that i was no longer waisting sanitary products. Growing up i never realized how much sanitary products I was using and how much damage it could do to the environment. It was just the norm to use disposables "use and toss" as many as needed, no one ever stops to think of the effects when this is just such a normal thing to do because of menstruation. However now that i am aware i did make a change not only for the environment but for me and my health.

Co-op Anouncement

Hello Ladies,

I know that cloth menstrual pads may seem like to much to invest in all in one shot however if you wanted a whole stash most women look to sales and freebies. However there are things called Co-ops, Co-op prices are much lower then regular prices and are basically wholesale prices. Co-ops run for a month, have a open and close date and have a flat rate fee of $1.00 per order made by each person. Once the Co-op closes invoices are sent out and payment are due within 48 hours. Keep in mind that their is a wait time!. Some may see this as a downfall and others as a benefit. Once the Co-op closes their is approximately a 2-3 week production time before orders are mailed out. (I know what your thinking... YIKES! That is a long time...) Yes i know it is but i work miracles and i try to get things done as fast as possible to not make any one wait more then they should. Another plus is that shipping is determined by weight and location, however Shipping will be split amongst all the ladies who place their orders, so the shipping will be very low. Isn't that great!

So lets get to the point of my blog... (jejeje)

My Entrepreneur Experience

Hello Everyone,

As you all may not know i am a college student, I attend brooklyn college and am persuing my BS in psychology. Well any who I applied for an Entrepreneur program this semester and out of the 100's that applied to the program i "GOT IN". I was excited and extremely happy because i still had much to learn about running my own business. Especially since i had no business background, I was learning as i went which became complicated and hard sometimes when i ran into what i called a "bumpy road." The program is called The Liebowitz Entrepreneur Program, It helped me realize that my business is for me and that i should not be scared to take risks. If you ever needed that push to persue your entrepreneur endeavors Check out The Liebowitz Entrepreneur program on youtube. The videos have speakers that will help you realize that anyone can start their own business if they believe in themselves, their product and are determined.

I know their are many skeptical women out their especially when it comes to reusable menstrual cloth pads but i believe in my product and eventually cloth pads will be something women are used to hearing and seeing, I could only hope that one day Cloth menstrual pads will be the normative in society everywhere in the world.

Well i wanted to share with you that before i entered this program i feared speaking in public, talking to strangers and this program helped me brake out of my shell not completely but it helped me tremendously.

My fellow classmates and I had to present each weak in front of the class our business/ Ideas each week and we gave each other feedback which was helpful. In addition we also had to sell our products if we had any and of course i sold Orgo Pads outdoors on my campus even though i knew i was going to get criticism from girls/women because some people are just plain ignorant and thats fine. It was nerve wrecking knowing i would have to sell outdoors when the semester would come to an end but as I attended class i built confidence in myself and what i believed and i just went for it. On May 1st and May 8th from 1-4pm i packed and unloaded my car setup my table with Orgo Pads in every size along with Dual Pocket Wetbags, and Detergents. I even had my Sister-In-Law help me (she is not fully for cloth but she is getting used to the idea). =)

I knew what to expect from students, some girls/women stared at my products like they had blood stains on them already "Wierd Right", One girl even told me to get out here because my products were disturbing!, and some women were just ignorant. I was even stared at like i was a alien... LOL. On the other hand some people were grateful to know they had other options other then disposables and surprised as i was i made a few sales. To be honest i did not expect to sell one thing. However despite the criticism i stood strong and motivated and when their were customers interested i kept my smile and took my time to explain my product and the benefits.
Just a tip for some people: Dont let anyone knock you down =]

The way i displayed my products really attracted women. The colors/prints were so eye catching and looked so amazing, some just had to keep looking. Now I knew i had some peoples attention and some women's curiosity grew =)

New Changes/Additions

Hello Ladies,

It has been a while since i have posted something up on the blog. There has been many things going on with Orgo pads these past few weeks. Orgo pads has updated their snaps to Engraved snaps, so say bye bye to those color snaps and say hello to Absorbency indicating snaps. Now you will be able to indicate what absorbency your pad has, I think this is totally awsum and so much easier for new converts to cloth.

Mini liners, Petite Liners, Pantyliner's and Thong liners will all have a snap with the letter "L" engraved on the left hand side.

Light Day pads will have a snap with the letter "M" engraved on the left hand side.

Heavy Day pads and Postpartum pads will have the letter "S" engraved on the left hand side.

The "L" engraved snaps indicate light absorbency, The "M" engraved snaps indicate moderate absorbency , The "S" engraved snaps indicate super absorbency.

In addition I will be adding a pad to the shop for "Extreme" absorbency soon for those ladies who do need more protection. Stay tuned for that.

On top of changing the snaps on the pads I have redesigned the Round style pads and have not stopped their. I have also decided to add a laundry care section for Orgo Pads. We will now be carrying the following Laundry options Buncha farmers stain remover, Nellies all natural laundry soda, Eco Nuts, Rockin Green and will also offer Mesh laundry bags in two different sizes Small and Large. The website currently has all Laundry care items out of stock however it will be updated in a few days once inventory is sorted out.

This week my studio is going under a few renovations in order to be a little more organized and to be able to get things done efficiently. I will be painting tonight and adding a new shelving unit tomorrow and will be getting new lighting setup this weekend. Our Fresh Start

So what do i mean by Fresh start? 

Well for starters We were previously known as "Infinity Cloth Pads" and due to trademark issues and conflict i had to change my shop/Business name and logo and basically start all over. I want to take the time out to apologize to my current and previous customers for the confusion this may have caused. I know it was inconvenient for me at first but now i see it as a new beginning. Our Logo/Name looks incredible and has a deep meaning to me. I can now improve on our product labels and make a nicer presentation, our product have not necessarily changed they work just as great as they have before i have however altered the wings for all the round pads to triangle wings so women can have more coverage. I will also be adding breast pads to the shop. But let me not drift of and tell you what our new name means. :)

Orgo pads is our new name and we are going to stick with it "WE LOVE IT & It Truly Suits US". Orgo was chosen because it stands for "chemical balance", So with this being said a womens body is able to maintain a chemical balance during there menstrual cycle by using natural products. Our products are natural and chemical-free. Which is also the reason why we have chosen our slogan to be "Enjoy the freedom to balance your menstrual cycle". Moving on, our logo represents the globe because our products are environmentally friendly. You can contribute to the world! Amazing. It is a little step but can make a huge difference. In addition we have 7 roses that wrap around the globe representing the 7 days of the week that a women is normally known to menstruate. Natural products are known to help women who experience long periods and when i say help i mean that our products as well as other natural products help reduce the amount of days a women experiences there menstrual cycle. Within two months of using our products your menstrual cycle can go from "7 days to 5 days or less" it really depends and varies woman to woman. Our logo,name, slogan is unique in its own way and really sets us apart from everyone else. We offer a large variety from sizing, fabric to style and we also plan to add breast pads so new moms can have more choices. We also have hopes of expanding and incorporating other "All natural, Alternative" products.
