Welcome To Orgo Pads

Welcome All!

Hi my name is Vanessa and I'm a Work at home mom (WAHM) to a beautiful little girl and a full time college student.  In addition I am the creator/maker/distributor of OrgoPads formally known as "Infinity Cloth Pads". Here you will find stocking updates for my products.

I am starting my own blog in order to raise awareness and to share news/updates on Menstrual products. A lot of women still don't know that there is an alternative to disposable products and times have changed and cloth menstrual pads are no longer a thing of the past. In society women go with what they "know" and what they know is that the disposable brands they are exposed to such as "Kotex", "Always", "Poise" are not only easy to access but convenient to use. However no woman ever stops to ask themselves what am i putting against my body? and are they safe?

I know this because until last year these questions never crossed my mind nor did i know there was an alternative. Imagine that for 10 years of my life I only knew what society had taught me. All the women i knew used disposables, Commercials advertised it every few minutes not once did i ever hear or see anything about cloth menstrual pads. I did not even think cloth could even hold up a heavy menstrual cycle. If i knew back then what i know now I would have switched the day i first got my menstrual cycle in the sixth grade.
Well ill tell you why i would have switched. Let me share with you what i have endured from using disposable products!  For ten years i have endured horrible menstrual cramp pain, i have endured long cycles lasting more then 6 days, and to top that off everyday during my cycle i had to wear an uncomfortable disposable pad  that only irritated my skin. These disposable products have chemicals in them that can be absorbed by the skin and this is the reason behind why women feel such drastic menstrual cramp pain and experience longer periods. My cycle was at times so severe that i would have to go to the emergency room due to the pain i was in. Now that i look back that just sounds horrible and I'm not sure why women would want to experience that! Now i understand if your from the city like me I'm from "New York" People love the easy life, Most people don't know these things or that Cloth menstrual pads exist but what if they knew? If disposable products are causing you negative effects how can they be making your life easy?. I understand that its convenient for travel "use it and toss it"  thats the model but if you have or are experiencing something similar to what i have which most women will say yes they are or have, then you know that these effects only make your life more difficult. I say this because i was not able to do a lot of things when my mother flow came around i would be home, bed bound or in a hospital in pain, There were days i had to stay home from school or work etc. I had no life because mother nature controlled my life.

Now I can honestly say i control my life. When i started using menstrual cloth pads my cycle went down to 3-4 days, not only did my cycle decrease but i felt little to no pain after only using cloth pads for one month. Now i can wake up do anything and everything without even knowing i have my cycle. I even feel better because i am so much more comfortable, not only do i have variety to choose from like other women such as sizing and absorbency levels but i also get to have a fashionable pad. I can choose my cloth pads according to my mood. I think thats Awsum! So just imagine how a teenage girl would feel, "Shoot" I wish i had this as a teenager i would've been less depressed or upset when i was younger about mother nature paying her visit. For Example "Im in a rocker mood, Hmm I think ill choose to wear the pad with the pink skulls on it". I know i love the major variety of fabric designs i can choose from and different types of fabrics available that are comfortable and safe against your skin.
Cloth Menstrual pads have many more benefits which you can find on my website in the FAQ's Section but the other top two that women love are that you can save money in the long run and you can also contribute to the environment even if it is a small contribution, You are still making a difference.

Now, I ask are disposables convenient for you?

Please feel free to leave feedback. If you have purchased any of my products be sure to leave feedback in "Feedback section", Thank you.
